More NCAA titles for SFU Clan

Three Clan teams dominated at their very first National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II National Championships. Women’s swimming, women’s indoor track and field, and men’s wrestling proved to America that Simon Fraser University belongs in this level of competition.

    The Saint Mary’s Huskies will get a chance to hoist the University Cup. After a bit of a slow start, Saint Mary’s picked it up and scored five goals against the Warriors, winning 5-1 in game five of the University Cup at Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.

    Saskatchewan Huskies knocked out of University Cup

    The University of Saskatchewan squad was knocked out of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport men’s hockey national championship tournament after falling 3-1 to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières Patriotes tonight at Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.
